Edit: Check my last reply please

I'm not sure what the difference is, but here is where I ran into a problem.

The systemrequirementslab: "Can you run it" shows:

Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (192-bit)
Manufacturer NVIDIA
Chipset GeForce GTX 760 (192-bit)
Dedicated Memory 1.4 GB
Total Memory 3.9 GB
(Which is on the low side for some higher demanding games)

When I run the dxdiag it just says: Approx. Total Memory: 4035 MB
When I open up Hwinfo the system summary shows 1536 MB Graphix memory size

This pc is a factory built, the card came with it. The card specs on Nvidia shows 2048 MB standard memory size. But as the dxdiag says total memory of 4035, this might be a 4 GB model?

The thing is, I don't know what I'm talking about, I just need some enlightenment :P mainly cuz I'm thinking something might be set wrong. I also notice my video render times are not that fast.

Btw if u need anything else, It has an i7-4770,single 8 GB DDR3. The only thing I upgraded from the standard are some harddrives and an ssd.

Thanks a lot!

Huh, there is some problem. The other 3.5 is shared memory not gpu memory. Your gpu is 1.5

It shouldn't be, right? I'm not sure how to check this :( and ehh, what is shared memory? ;\

When playing games like NFS Rivals, the gpu memory just caps out at around 1400 MB (thats what the GPU-Z sensor thing shows me)

Yup, your memory chip is borken. Shared memory is basically your ram (I think)

Ah..

I just looked up that there have been 760 models with 1.5 vram... those were sold in pre-builts.. like mine
I suppose I have the 1.5 then.

But I still don't get where the 4 GB comes from.. cuz my system runs 8 GB ram ;\
Although.. when I look at my task manager, it says this for example:
MW8LgD5.png
67% ram is being used, but when I add up the whole list to the bottom.. I end up at around 2000 MB. Any ideas?

Shoulda built my own pc.. or not cuz idk a thing about all this :(
