When I looked at prices and specs I was disappointed, PC is so much better. But if someone here has a gaming laptop, or knows a bit about them, any info would help. Which brand and models are best for their value, battery life while gaming e.t.c.

msi and asus both have some pretty great options. What kind of budget do you have?

Around $1-2k, but I can go over that if specs will be worth the price. Would be nice to play latest games for at least another 2 years after I get it.

here is a nice one that has gpu power roughly equal to that of a desktop gtx 770

Really nice, is there any with 6 core processor though?

you wont find that in any laptop, at least not in a gaming laptop.

2.5 GHz is pretty weak, especially for poorly optimized Bohemia Games. Could they perhaps release a newer model sometime before spring next year?

you really wont find any mobile processors that go above 3ghz right now outside of very expensive workstation grade laptops. I doubt you will see any new models releasing at higher speed either as Intel has been moving more towards efficiency rather than pure performance.

All right, thanks a lot! I bet these workstations are $3k or even more not worth for me to spend that much money.

Yeah they go for allot. They dont do well with games either as they will use workstation gpu's like quadros and firepro's
