I've ordered two (one spare) to create distance between rad and fans (pull config) to stop fans from touching the rad. I hope it works, the ones I ordered are 3mm thick.

So radiator gaskets, are they worth while at all? Can't find a single review on them. To be clear it's just a gasket that goes between the fan and rad to seal in the air flow.

If your like me and can only mount fans on top on the case and then the rad on the roof on the inside, there is a sizable gap and will lose a lot of the pressure needed to get through the fins. So basically a rad/fan gasket is worth it if you're losing pressure through ill fitment, they can also dampen vibrations if you are also having those issues.

1. use duct tape

2. expect .5 a degree diffrence

that 0.5c is only applicable to fans that fit well, issues that I've stated above would see a much better performance in temp drop.

IMO they are worth it for making a really tight seal between the radiator and fan for the least to no air loss but they also work well for dampening noisy vibrating fans a bit. I would look for the silicone ones as they can be washed properly to remove the dust that will accumulate, the rubber ones tend to become brittle and break and the XSPC ones which stick to the radiator is very hard to come off cleanly.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

My Cooler Master Seidon 240M came included with a very high quality gasket.  It performs incredibly well.

I use a G10 + X31 on my GPU as well, and because of how well the gasket on my CPU's AIO worked, I purchased two 120mm gaskets for my X31.  One of them is for a tighter seal on the push fan, the other is to reduce vibrations against the chassis.  I didn't notice a decrease in temperature, but using an app on my phone, the gasket lowered noise by 3dBa.  I honestly can't notice it by my ear's perception, maybe because of lots of concerts and clubs, but I ran some tests, and it is a solid 3dBa lower with the gasket on.

This & this! Sure temps wise you won't notice much if any change at all but I will be buying some eventually to make sure when my project is over the pc makes the least amount of noise as possible because my gf won't want to go from a silent iMac to a tornado lol.

I recall TTL saying sealing up the gap makes a difference.

I personally used electrical tape and it doesn't look bad, when you aren't shining light on it you can't even tell -

I cut a bit of the 5.25inch bay out so the radiator would fit (bubble wrap + tinsnips > padded gloves + tinsnips ) & used a coat hanger to mount the radiator (screws were misalligned and their was no way it was going to screw in). Not much progress but just waiting for a few fittings to arrive from overclockers before I tear my current PC apart.

Put some duck tape in to help the direction of the air go through the radiator. It's less noticeable in person (looks grey on my phone).
