trying to start a terraria server but friend cant install hamachi for reasons, so what are some programs that are the same as hamachi? "alternatives"

I don't think you need hamachi, as long as you portforward 7777 properly, you should be able to use host and play directly from the game as long as you find your ip address... ipchicken is where I find mine as it constantly changes for some reason.

Im not sure TeamViewer has virtual port-forward capabilities, right?

i got tunngle it works like magic, it doesnt even use my IP instead it gives me virtual IP so yeah
