Hi everyone!

So I am soon gonna upgrade again, so I came to ask what I should upgrade. My specs ATM:

Intel Core i5 4430

Asus Gtx 760 DCII OC

8Gb Kingston 1333mhz single channel

120Gb Samsung 840 Evo Ssd

500Gb WD Blue 7200 Rpm

Preferably, I wish to upgrade something that I can add to the PC, not necessarily replace something.

Happy Holidays everyone!

The SSD is fine, still got some room there (I only use it for drivers, OS and BF4)

Got a new screen and K/B 2m ago and my other peripherals are on their way from a webshop. I dont need a sound card and i cant upgrade my GPU

-A CD Drive

-Better cpu cooler

-2nd HDD for recording/ backup

-Led strips for your pc case

Already got a cd drive, my cpu never overheats and i have no clue where i will put those strips. I still have some space left on the HDD, but Its my first steam winter sale so ill probably get some games and an HDD

Also do i need to upgrade my RAM?

Why cant you upgrade your GPU?

1333mhz is a little slow and can effect performance, I recommend 1600mhz or 1866mhz, and you could upgrade to 16gb (only really needed for editing or heavy tasks 8gb is enough for gaming) - BUT it will not make very much difference

Maybe spend your money on something other than your computer

Erm, well, Idk. You PC's specs aren't great, but hardly worth an upgrade, so I really have no idea what you could spend it on with your PC setup.

For gaming? Maybe in the next time another 4GB ram stick. But this will be ~3GB more than you possibly will need.

Never go higher than 12GB, this is more than enough more gaming now.

Show her a chart showing how the performance of your card is not enough

OR if its fine, dont bother upgrading

what about speakers/headphones?

If you cannot think of anything worth  upgrading... then you dont need up upgrade, spend money on other interests/hobbies/activities

If your parents have a desktop, sabotage the case from the inside so a hard drive, optical drive, etc. falls with no other place to place it, making the need for a new case for their desktop, in which you then provide the idea of putting the innards of their desktop into your case, which they apparently like so much. In return, they buy you a new case, preferably like a Corsair 350D/450D or the new Be Quiet Base 800. If nothing else, then a Corsair 230T. I have an ongoing build in a 230T and I absolutely love, especially after I fabricated a pedestal for it that can mount 2 480mm radiators and 2 240mm radiators simultaneously.

CPU: i7 4790k @ 4.6 GHz Motherboard: MSI SLI Plus Krait Edition RAM: 16 GB (2x8) 1866 MHz Kingston Black Fury Series GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming Case: NZXT S340 (Black) Storage: Intel 730 Series SSD (240 GB), Seagate Barracuda (1 TB) Display: LG 24MP55 Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB for gaming (1st Player Fire Dancing for typing) Mouse: Logitech G502 Sound: Corsair Gaming 2100 Vengence 7.1 Headset Operating System: Windows 10
