Motherboard choice

Which one is better for an AMD FX-8350 and a gtx 970.

Asus M5a99x evo.  I currently have revision one.

I would go with Gigabyte. It has the 990FX southbridge instead of the 990X, so it's newer. Otherwise, the only difference is looks and the black will last longer in looks than will the blue.

 

Unlike Coolax, I have never had an issue with Gigabyte boards. I build computers and I build only on ASUS and Gigabyte, so either brand is great in my eyes.
