Windows 7 on new pc

So im building my first pc in a couple of days so i am wondering can i use the hard drive i have now because it already has windows 7 on it

The new pc specs are:

Fx 6300

R9 280x dual x

2x4gb crucial sport ram

Gigabyte ga 970a motherboard

1tb seagate barracuda

Bit fenix comrade windowed case

500 gb hard drive (with the os on it if it will work)

You'll want to reinstall, but yes, you can use the same hard drive.

It might work, but definitely not well. You can definitely use the key for 7 still though.

Just open CMD with administrator privileges and run:

slmgr -upk
