So my new system I am using a ocz arc 100 ssd (240gb) and a wd black 1tb hdd and also a wd green 2tb (dedicated to acronis backup).

So I didn't realize I have had these wd black for a lot longer than I thought considering it is only sata 2. So I am curious would I notice a difference upgrading to a newer wd black 1tb?

I saw one branch sow the new one is 50% faster in writes so that's not bad considering this is the drive I use for music/videos/files and some games (ones not demanding enough for the ssd).

So I would be going from the wd1001fals (1 tb sata 2 32mb cache) to the wd1003fzes (1tb sata 3 64mb cache).

Being that hdd are so cheap now (75 for the new 1tb) curious if it may be worth swapping out and making the old one a portable 1tb drive).
