Bitfenix Prodigy 2.5" HDD

Is there any disadvantages in using a 2.5" hard drive instead of a 3.5? Shorter lifespan, more fragile etc? Too much of a cheapo to get large SSD's for an upcoming build

There's no disadvantage at all I'd imagine. 2.5" hard drives are essentially for Laptops since 3.5" would have been too big for them.

Been wondering about that too, all I know is that they tend to have lower cache and capacities, and tend to have a higher dollar to space ratio. Lower capacity wouldn't bother me in the cases where I'd buy a 2.5" mechanical drive.
