Hi

I would like to play mmorpg. I play rose online, eden eternal, aura kingdom and I would love to play archage and FOR SURE i would love to play Tera Rising online without getting memory error crash messages. why i need a new pc? i get memory error crash and because i am playing tera rising at the lowest settings in quality plus i dont meet the minimum requirements. I would really like to see the details of the monsters instead of fluffy grey models that move stiff.

 Another reason.

I would love to play in high quality, when going into instances of massive player vs player. Like in eden eternal and aura kingdom, there are so many people in a small area and my computer becomes super slow, it starts to lag,  i would love to feel confident that if i am going to run in a crowd of crazy fantasy characters that are ready to kill anyone who steps in, at least i will have that 50% chance of survival.  knowing i have an option to fight or fly will boost my confidence in pvp arenas. At the moment i know that i will for die for sure.

I want something that will be awesome in high quality for Tera Rising online.

I believe the game is for 64 bit users since i get in-game messages about my settings being configure in real time by the game to perform as smoothly as it can with 32 bit. The game using unreal engine 3. No idea if that means anything. My friend told me that there is no way in hell that a game would require 4gigs of ram to play. but

In addition i do like to watch netflix and anime on the same computer. but i care more about gaming.

My budget is 800$ and maybe 1k$ once i get out of this tug of war i'm having with two jobs.

Location U.S.A California, los angeles 90029.
Monitor One monitor.(1280 x 1024)I use a simple dell. Perhaps i would need another if its necessary.

Peripherals I will need an operating system I like windows 7, i don't have enough experience with win 8.1 but if it is better, i can learn how to use it. youtube videos ;). my dvd drive acts a bit weird but i think it is still functional

.

At the moment i have 2010 components. this is my first pc i have built with help of my friend Andrus. I am thankful for his help since i did get a cheap pc at the time for the games i mostly played. I believe i paid about 560$ in newegg and some parts on best buy.

simple case. that was 20$  I do think i will need a new one.

cpu  Intel® Core i3 CPU 530 @ 2.93GHz, ~2.9GHz

motherboard  gigabyte GA-H55M-S2

Graphics Card HDTV 5550 sapphire

Power supply is a 430 w

Memory stick  2x    2 gig stick

I am not in a rush, since we are near 2015, I can wait if you guys think there might be better prices for newer or older pc parts.

That CPU should be just fine provided you aren't doing anything major at the same time. Otherwise I would upgrade to an i5 series / FX Series CPUs as they are fairly cheap and provide a great gaming experince. As for the GPU, and R9 270X is an awesome bang for the buck card that would be a HUGE upgrade at under $200 US. Other things I would do would be a 8GB 1600MHz Memory upgrade and a 500W PSU to power the new card. The Corsair CX500 is a great inexpensive unit.

That particualar platform is several generations back now that I look a little closer. It would probably be best to do what I call a "Platform Upgrade" where you move to a new MB/CPU. Either to an LGA-1155 socket with a new i5, FX series board (970 or 990FX with an AM3+ socket). The AMD side will give you better muiti-thread performance while the Intel is faster on a single core. You shouldn't have to spend more than $200 on a CPU and no more than $100 on a MB. I would still recommend the R9 270X and CX500 or CX750 PSU to wrap it all up. Some Inexpensive 1600MHz Memory and you should be good to go.

Also if you really want a new case, check out Hardware Canucks on youtube as they do a LOT of different cases in all different price ranges.

Funtionally no, it will simply run in single-channel mode instead of dual-channel mode.

edit: If you only have 2 slots on your MB, then I would recommend the single stick as it will leave upgrade room. otherwise I'd do the 2x 4GB kit for Dual-Channel operation.

and for amonitor, I think you would do just fine with an HDTV, like a VIZIO of the floor from target or any big retailer.
