Case: Corsair Carbide Series 500r computer case


Mobo: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 


CPU: AMD FX-8350


GPU: MSI GTX 970


PSU: Corsair CX500 500W


RAM: 2 x Corsair Vengeance 8gb DDR3 1866


Storage: WD Green 3tb & Kingston 240gb ssd


 


My gtx 970 comes up as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. I installed all the drivers, could there be another problem? I'm getting horrible FPS, like 6-10 max on low.

Go into BIOS and check that the GPU is being detected.  

 

Make sure your are plugged into the GPU and not the Motherboard.

Thank you just fixed it haha it wasn't being detected so i just reinstalled the drivers again and so far it seems to be working
