Hello LTT Members, need a bit of help here if you don't mind.

My ISP just released an addon to my plan for "unmetered" bandwidth and I thought it be great to take advantage of this and restart my youtube channel. Issue is, when I attempt to render out it takes HOURS, and I mean HOURS to render out a 5 minute video (specs down below).

Specifications:

AMD FX-8350

16GB DDR3

2x HD7870's (Gigabyte OC)

AX1200i

120GB Samsung Evo

6x 500GB WD Velcios.

Rendering Software:

Cinema4D R15/R16 (some options aren't in R16)

Adobe Premier Pro / After Effects

Sony Vegas

Now I need a rendering rig, 2 of my options is this ..

I can buy a SuperMicro and a AMD Opteron 6272 (16 Core CPU (I'll get two of them)), memory (32GB RDIMM ECC), and 2 Noctua G34 120mm coolers. for $1,104.38
- This one will use my same parts to help? Will this help me with better rendering.

The second options is upgrading the whole rig. Can someone price out a $2,500 PC rendering rig. Intel/AMD doesn't matter. (Including CAD Prices and Alberta Taxes (5%)). It'd be great!

Thanks.

It should not be taking hours to sender out a 5minute video on that hardware make sure your rendering with your gpu's

Also just letting you know that memory express beats prices by 10%

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Wait wait what the heck. Don't render vids, I used to edit 1080p videos 30mins at less then 20 minutes with same processor but lot weaker gpu and ram.

Plus don't invest In the channel like this, it's a 1/1000 oppurtiountiy.

Lets all ripperoni in pepperoni

Favorite place to shop. And Cinema4D is using CPU To render out and its taking ages to do a render.

It won't just be for the channel as I do, do graphics design and 3D modeling as well.

Here ya go it should do all the editing and rendering you would ever need and is well below your budget with plenty of room for upgrades. If you feel like you want to re-use any part of your current pc just take that part off of this one. You could even add a second 970 if you felt like it.

That other build he mentioned would be better I think, especially if he throws his GPU's into that build.

You might hold off on the GTX 980 and see what kind of performance you get with the HD 7870s in the new system.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
