So recently I've been having problems with my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-m919 and the thing that is killing me is that my sim card isn't being detected at all.

I get the message "No SIM inserted Insert SIM card" all the time when there is a tested and working SIM card in the slot.

Its been doing this for the past 2-3 weeks when I was on 4.4.2 OS and it has been fine before.

For some reason I think I was watching Twitch on my phone when i got a message saying sim card undetected, the device will restart or something like that. So i restarted and it was fine. Then about 2 weeks later i get the message again and this time my sim isn't detected for the entire day. During that day i reinserted my sim many times and also restored the device, but that didn't work until it just randomly detected the sim after 500 restarts durin the end of the day. Then about 2 weeks later my friend takes the case off my phone and again i get the message saying that my sim card isn't detected and its going to reboot. And ever since that day it hasn't detected the sim card once. So i tried updating the phone to 4.4.4 and still, no luck. I went to the T-mobile store and got a new sim card and still, nothing. I ordered a new sim card reader for 10 buck off ebay and still...the sim isn't detected but the micro sd card slot works fine just like the old reader. My sim works right now in my other phone, but not in my Galaxy S4. I'm just wondering why is nothing working?? Is there anyway i can completely restore to the original OS like when the phone was first released? Is there something missing in the OS on my phone? I really don't want to buy a new motherboard because i have a feeling that won't work either, and I'll just end up buying another phone after wasting even more money. If anyone knows anything, it won't hurt to try. Please help.
