So I am buying an MSI gtx 760 BUT I don't know if its worth the extra $120 to get it with 4gb or VRAM compared to 2gb.

What difference will it make and how would I notice the difference.

I plan on playing games like csgo.

Having more VRAM is beneficial in games where you're playing at higher resolutions or using loads of AA. Another example is if you're playing a game with lots of mods(say Skyrim). I don't think it's necessarily worth the extra $120.

If your considering spending an extra $120 on a 760 why not just get a MSI 970 instead

what he said

a 760 is really in the range of driving a 1080p display, which only uses more than 2 gigs in with textures cranked in the most texture intensive of games in my experience.

the only time I've ever had it not be enough was playing titanfall with extreme textures, which was designed to fit within the 8gb unified memory of a console. high textures still look fantastic, not quite as good as extreme but less hitching which is a worthy trade off.
