Going to buy one. The price difference is $10 and i like the styling of both. I have strong loyalty to both ASUS and EVGA.

Both coolers are very comprable and on their V 2.0 levels. As far as i can tell these are mere matchups.

I can't find any video or document that puts variants of the same model gpu against each other [yet] and i'd like to know if there is a significant performance difference between them, either stock or OCd.

Or if there are any fancy feature lists i'm missing about one or the other.

Thank you very much. =D

I would say the Asus one since it's dead silent but if you are more of an heavy overclocker than the EVGA card fits your needs however the evga card is a lot louder.

Also the Asus card has a single 8-pin connector

The EVGA FTW cards are binned I believe, guarantee a higher OC on average (though the strix may still be a monster OC'er with a bit of luck). I would go with EVGA FTW since EVGA is just infinitely better than asus ever will be. Plus the strix is pretty meh IMO but I have a strong dislike towards ASUS

i'd get the evga one as well.

their customer support is awesome and their cards are too.

I'd recommend the EVGA

Is there any quality or material difference, in components perhaps? or is this all reputation and loyalty. Because i have very good records with ASUS.

Or is it so close that it actually doesn't matter and you just go with your preference? =)
