I just  finished building the pc. when i hitted the power button nothing happened so i cheked every wire and fixed some tried again nothing happened. so tested is the psu dead with paperclip system and it was fain. now tried to pull one cable a time and tried to boot and i found a the problem when cpu gets power the pc wont boot but when doesnt all fans and optical drive are in function and some other compents. and when i boot i cant shut it down via power button i must close it via psu button.

then mabe your cpu is dead

Did you put thermal paste on the cpu?  Did you also hook up the cpu fan?

yes i did. i think  the mobo has something wrong beacause only fans and optical drives gets power.

pyyzi did you not say your pc boots up?  So does it make it into Windows or not? 

Also it sounded like your problem mentioned at the end of your post was just getting it to power on with the power button on the case and the video I provided above in my previous post shows you an example of how to do this.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

are the fans plugged in to the mobo or PSU and maybe your keyboard or mouse etc are bugging. try unplugging all external/internal usb, only connect a monitor and a p/s2 keyboard try again,

 

did you plug the 8 pin cpu in the right connector on psu(if you have a modular psu)
