Plain: Create a backsplash for the that you would see in a modern 21^st century home

 

Objective: On a 3x4 foot board make a kitchen backsplash that contains a motion sensing LED’s

That Sense a person getting closer or farther away and adjusts brightness according to that distance.

The back splash will also house a 7in touch screen LCD attached to a Raspberry Pie micro computer

That will allow you to surf the internet and watch your favorite cooking show or Linus Techtips channel on YouTube. On top of that you will also be able to send, store and receive messages so that you can make a shopping list store it and send it next time you go shopping.

 

Parts List: 1 3x4 sheet of ¾ in OSB, multi colored tile enough to cover the sheet, 7in touch screen LCD, Rasburry Pie Minnie computer, 16 foot roll of Hi intensity LED’s, Tile Past and Grout, Water and dust proof speakers, Motion sensor,  Wiring  .

 

Tool List: Putty knife, Dremel Tool with tile and wood cutting attachments, PC, Multi-meeter, Screw Driver with Bits, Pliers.

Its a bit hard to ship a back splash lol but I can show you how I did it. once im done and you can pitch the idea to her

Its far from perfect as far as the Tile goes but I am not a tile layer so I didn't have the tools or know how to make the whole thing nice with out blowing my $100.00 budget.
