media PC thoughts

hello everyone, im thinking about making my first media pc and im gonna do it CHEAP. i was looking at this APU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113349 and i found a mobo on ebay for ~$30. so those 2 combined is ~$78. the psu i already have one, its super overkill but it will work. i have a case, fans, an SSD for it, but then i remembered i have a amd radeon 6870 gpu. so should i get a cheaper CPU like a celeron or something or should i get the APU? ill need a board either way. whats your guys' thoughts? 
*edit* i have a 212 evo for either cpu.
