It might install Chrome. And with the "wonderful" Search Protect and Ask Toolbar. (Or shit tons of malware and crapware and adware) 

 

No, that is not official. 

 

(Also, why do you have shortcuts on your desktop to things on your taskbar?)

By the looks of it, yes. Google Chrome updates automatically download for me in the background, no window pop-up of any sort. I would decline that.

Lot's of people in here and only one other person bothered to read the freaking fine print. 

By this time, you are already infected. 

Usually i recommend a barrage of tools to clean a PC as i don't know how bad it is, but i can see most of your system tray right there and i don't see anything.

AdwCleaner http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/dl/125/

 

Combofix http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/dl/12/

and HitmanPro http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/hitmanpro/

Run each one as an administrator and follow the onscreen instructions. 

And for good measure, reset your browsers. 

Always read the fine print.
