is there any chance that i could bring out the audio and use the audio jack on my monitor and still get get the 144Hz refreshrate on my monitor? my monitor doesnt have DisplayPort

will and dvi to hdmi do the work?

or maybe a DisplayPort to hdmi? ( my GPU supports DisplayPort )

DisplayPort spec is an audio/video interconnect spec. It can carry both audio and video over a single connection. Damn it monitor doesn't have displayport. Also displayport to hdmi is limited to hdmi speed ( only HDMI 1.4b can do 120hz @ 1080p , not 144 )

so both DisplayPort to VGA and DisplayPort to DVI will be able to carry 144Hz + sound?

Oh, no.

You can use a hdmi splitter for this, but thats all nonesense, downloading custom software etc.

Just use the integrated soundcard, the quality is better than the soundprocessor in the monitor.
