new budget pc HELP

Go to solution Solved by SImoHayha,

Hi guys, i need help :(

i want a new pc, and i dont have a big budget.

i dont have any real requirements for the pc, other than it should be able to play starcraft 2 at a stable 60 fps (dosent matter the graphical setting) and the same goes for league of legends.

i have looked at a pc, from a store. i know the store is a good store, and they assemble all their pc's on orders, so i know its not just some kind of stock pc, like the ones that are sold on ebay and stuff.

here are the specs:

cpu: i3-4160

graphics: intel 4400 hd graphics

RAM: 8gb g.skill ripjaws gaming 1600mhz

case: cooler master elite 342

drive: asus dvd-burner/player

HDD: seagate 7200rpm 500gb

PSU: fsp 500w 85+ bronze

MOBO: asus h81m-d plus

there is a video of the pc running some games, but i dont know what i should expect. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-KqxIDD7UU#t=33

Thanks for your time :) i do really appreciate it if you could help me!

Get a GPU down the line, and also maybe get a higher wattage power supply to cover for upgrades in the future? Make sure the PSU brand is reputable.

Personal opinion, but EVGA is one of the best PSU brands imo. Plus their customer service is spectacular

do you know how well it will run those games i mentioned or at least have some kind of idea?

They will run fine on low settings and resolution, but it doesn't look nice and may affect your game play experience.

I found some benchmarks for intel integrated graphics for you;

Basically, you're looking at running on low settings at a low resolution (1024x768). I've been playing bf3 on the intel hd 4600 on low at 720p and it's like the ps3 maybe a bit worse but the framerate is ~45. Waiting on AMDs next GPUs to come out then gonna decide which to buy. Was looking at a 970, but AMDs are around the corner, so may as well wait.
