Moto X Backing

The backing is adhered to the device, so while it may be a little annoying to get a backplate, it can be swapped.

So it's not really made to be swapped though?

Pretty much. The backings are also a little difficult to remove without damaging, especially the wood and leather ones.

I will be getting a Moto X this christmas, and I've heard form a few people that you can change the back of the phone easily. However, google searching didn't turn up much. So is this true?

They probably meant in Moto Maker.
