windows sometimes does not boot

Go to solution Solved by BabaBooey,

It could be the RAM. Have you tried with only one RAM stick, switched them around to see if one of them could be faulty?

Another thing you should do is update the bios. It would also be a good idea to reset the bios settings, in case the memory settings etc. could be the cause.

i rectify build a powerful gaming pc

specs:

CPU: intel 4790k

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 980 in SLI
RAM: corsair vengeance pro 2400 MHz

PSU: cooler master v1000

SSD: intel 530 500 gb SSD

mobo: asus z97 pro

OS: windows 8.1 home not OEM

when i first built it it was fine but now when i start up it turns on but nothing comes up and my monitor says no input if i turn the pc on a off 3 times it works but i have to do this every time.

i erases my drive and reinstall every thing and that fixed it for a bit but then it started again

please help i don't know what to do i spent a lot of money on it.

i did overlock the CPU and GPU a bit but i then turned them off.
