I just recently built my new pc, did all the updates including the mb, it works amazing. I have this one issue where if I shut off my computer through windows it will power off like normal but for some reason my razer tiamat 7.1 and my razer naga 2014 edition lights stay on AFTER the computer has powered off. If I unplug the computer from the wall the lights shut off as they are supposed to but if I plug it back in they come right back on. The only fix is to start the computer back up and shut it off again, this solves the problem until I shutdown again, in which the lights stay on. Any permanent fix? I have an Asrock Z57 Pro3 motherboard with updates bios.

This is normal, some PSUs will allow 5v power to the motherboard even if it's off.

It can be disabled from the bios or from Windows in case the bios doesn't have it.

On windows 8 this happens more frequently thanks to the fast boot options, that never really turn the ports off, to get going faster. Enabling power saving features, or entering into device manager -> USB -> allow power saving; is a way to do it also.

If those options don't work, try on the bios. First make sure it's updated!, then find the correct options, all bioses are different, so you will have to search through it.

Finally, some motherboards include a jumper for this, that has to be changed from its current position to disable USB off-power. The manual is your only help there.
