3. Monitor- I plan on using a single monitor at 1920x1080.

4. Peripherals- This is my first PC so I need a keyboard, mouse, monitor. I want to use windows 8.

5. Why are you upgrading- I am upgrading because my only computer right now is a 6 year old Dell laptop.

Looks good, but you should probably get another 7950 instead of that one. I know it's cheap and keeps you under the budget, but it's not that really good.

i think that buying a 4xxx-K processor is much more important that those expensive peripherials; you can buy them later and use a 10$ ones from now

buying an operating system REALLY?

just get a 3770k + msi gd45 mb and will be a lot better because if in the future you want to upgrade you wont use the motherboard you are thinking aboout buying anyway
