I have no idea what to do at this point.  On my wife's laptop.

Built a new Asus x99 Deluxe with the i7-5930k.

I simply cannot get the board to recognize my Plextor PCIe M.2 2280 SSD.  PX-G256M6e.

I have done everything but the right thing it would appear.  I have Enable the CSM on not.  Boot control UEFI and legacy, and tried the other settings.  I have tried IDE, Raid, AHCI settings.

Seems like a small chance to have a bad card, but I have no idea hoping one of you guys might know.

Any help would be great.

Does it require special drivers? You may have to download a driver first, put it on a USB stick and tell the Windows installer to load that driver prior to the installation.

I had to do the same thing when I was running a PCIe RevoDrive

EDIT : I read some reviews just now, and one of them mentions that on some motherboards you may have to manually activate the M2 slot in the UEFI.

Looks like I am able to get windows 7 running but not with M6e, or in raid on other drives.  So a single drive.  I had windows 8.1 running last night and started downloading drivers for motherboard and the whole thing died.  It ran, but each couple keystrokes took 5 minutes to complete.  Got into task manager and saw where 39 programs was running in background.  Could not stop them as takes about 5 minutes each keystroke.  So, decided 8.1 was part of the issue and put 7 back in.

Maybe if I can get crawling, I can get other things running as well.  I am going to try placing the M6e in another pci slot to see what happens.
