With your question (I suppose it is one), you ask if it's normal to get dropped back to the matchmaking playlist-selection which is normal, is that correct? Or are you unable to play the playlist you just played and therefore select another one? Try a reset (hold down power button 10-15 seconds, unplug the power brick for around 20 seconds) and try it again.

Yes, they did that in one of the latest updates. In my opinion, the player should be left in the playlist but the search should be restarting (exactly like it was in Halo 2,3 and Reach). Also, MCC doesn't have the group-option after every game to stay with people you just played with.

yeah like this is the first halo game i bought never had an xbox or 360 and just the shitty multiplayer kinda ruins it for me like i was really looking forward to it
