Hey guys!! I am pretty new here and I am from Australia (land from down under) I have a CRAPPY CRAPPY CRAPPY computer and I am using it for gaming!!! It has a GT620 so that's all you need to know about it and I am trying to run games like FarCry 3 on it!!!! :(

I am currently saving up money for a new computer. I will be putting a GTX760 in it and a Inter i5 4690K. I need help choosing a motherboard that is not too expensive!! My budget is around $1000 so I will sadly not be getting a GTX 970 :( :( :( (ow well)  What motherboard should i use for this build? and also (if you can be bothered) can you give me some tips on what case, SSD and memory I should use. My budget is really low so not 2 expensive.

Thank you guys :)

Most people would say to get a fitting Z97 board for overclocking and multiple gpu configuration, but in your case I don't see you doing either so maybe a simple H97 board would work.

H97 also tends to be cheaper than Z97 of course.

As for something more specific:

Asus or Gigabyte would be recommended mostly.

Other than that, just look for one which seemingly has all the plug-in options you need. (USB2/USB3, sound etc.)

You'll do fine with this CPU for gaming (strictly for gaming), overclockable, and acceptable temps with the hyper 212 evo.

I am defiantly planing on staying on 1080p so I don't like the sound of the 10% difference. And I am getting a GTX 760 and I have mixed feelings about it.... I would buy a much cheaper GTX 750ti but it doesn't support SLI so when I need to upgrade to SLI because the one card is starting to suck I cant do it with a GTX 750. So I decided to go with a more expensive 760 which has SLI so I can keep my games running at 1080p on high resolutions. My current card (GT 620) can run Advanced Warfare on extremly low resolution and all the crap like shadows turned OFF
