Check that chart. It has R9 280X in it. (3 GB version)

 

The difference is 5-20fps depending of game.

 

COD:AW seems to give quite huge difference in performance.

definitely a difference but its about 50 dollars price difference so I will need to think about it and i am a Nvidia fan boy no idea why but i am

For that 50$ difference, you might as well take i5-4570/4590 instead and an OC or SC version of 760.

 

Instead of:

 

i5-4460 + R9 280X

 

 

you would have:

 

i5-4590 + GTX 760 OC or SC  (Over-Clock or Super-Clock)
