Hi, I am currently Silver 4 and have been stuck there for AGES. I have won like 10 games in a row once and didnt rank up... I've played CS:GO for 800 hours and only now I understood that rank doesn't even matter. Play! have fun and forget the rank, you'll see it will gradually increase.

I'm so new to CS:GO, the Ak 47 is so hard to use, I cry everytime ;-;

If you want to get better, or honestly just have a much better time, stop playing MM, even with friends.  The experience is inconsistent, and often times you will learn very little from the experience.  In an average MM, you are usually playing with people who are either:

- way better than you

- way worse than you

- hacking

- have 0 gamesense

- cant work as a team

- are trolls

 

There are multiple things you can do to heavily improve your experience.

 

1. Make a CEVO team with your friends.  This will greatly increase the quality of your opponents and make sure your team is always someone you can trust and work with.  Even if you always lose, you will learn a lot of things from enemy teams who are coordinated and have a love for the game.  There are very little hackers on CEVO compared to MM, and even just pugs on CEVO are 10x better than just regular matchmaking.  You play with players who really care and you will improve so much more.  Your rank means nothing and instead your stats show how good you are.  Silver, gold, eagle, global, whatever.  Rank is trumped by stats and efficacy rating.
2. Host a 10-man server and scrim with your friends, practicing strats, aim, and the like.  This is what pro teams do to practice and its what my team does to practice, and it is definitely a huge help to not only learn to work better with your team but also to improve your experience level.

What really helped me to increase my game skills was alot of aim servers man, headshot servers, pistol servers and, deathmatches help a lot. Also practice your movements and grenade throws in an offline server with just you.

I'm so new to CS:GO, the Ak 47 is so hard to use, I cry everytime ;-;

Not that hard to use the AK-47, or use the SG 553 or Galil AR if you don't want high recoil.

I only have 35 competitive wins and am only silver 2, but I'd love to play with someone. I don't have a mic if that is a deal breaker.
