Eve Online newbie

Hello fellow space enthusiasts !

 

I heard you can get a 21 day trial for Eve Online if somebody sends you an invite so I thought I'd try and ask here :D

 

Also maybe you will be able to answer a few questions as I tried it before and I got stuck in a tutorial quest where I had to kill pirates but there wasn't any. (I'll try to not be too annoying)

 

Also, do you think I can buy it on steam if I find I like it I can keep the account I created for the trial ?

Edit : I heard even small ships can give an advantage to a group of players so if you need somebody to suicide gank or something like that I'm your man ! :P

 

Edit 2 : I found a friend's code but I'd still wouldn't pass up on some help if you want (only questions I don't expect you giving me ISKs)

Best advice - your gonna have to forfeit a fair amount of time to make any headway in this game. When you aren't playing read up on the game, watch some vids. Really put some time into it. You won't get anything outta this game playing it casually.

Don't solo, join a Corp show them you are serious about learning and ask lots of questions. Dont fly something you aren't prepared to loose and can't afford to replace.

you have to go to the location specified in the mission, not just randomly anywhere.

 

no, if you make a normal account you have a normal account, if you buy the game on steam, you have a steam account.

I said I don't necessarly want ISK, just tips :P I thought the whole game was on one server ?
