Advice. (For dem OCing)

Planing to pump another 200 MHz into my FX-8350 to 4.8 GHz. Right now I have it at 4.6 GHz @ 1.41-1.42V. Now a couple things I need some advice from people that are more experienced then me at OCing.

 

Temps:

Idle: 1-3C over ambient

Load: 25-30C over ambient

 

1) Starting voltage? (I was planing to just start @ 1.5V and lower if its stable.)

2) Can I even do it with my motherboard (Asus M5A990x Evo R2.0)? (It's only a 6+2 Phase, and I don't know if it can deliver the power to have a stable overclock.)

It doesnt matter how much delta over ambient your temps are.

What matters is that they do not exceed 62 degrees, no matter what ambient.
