Record TV Stream

Hello guys,

 

I have WD TV, I use SlingPlayer to watch TV. I want to record video, because my LG Smart TV 32LB650V only records, if I see channels via TV antenna or satellite cable (WD TV, as you know, I think, uses HDMI cable). So I'm thinking about Hauppauge HD PVR 2. Good choice? Any other solutions? Cheaper?
