CoD Advanced Warfare - a cpu whore?

So my cpu hits 59*C when I am playing advanced warfare.(This is probably when it loads the level not on actual gameplay). And bf4/fc4 ~45*C max. Why aw needs much cpu rescources? Its not as good looking as bf4 for sure.

I think its because its compressed. either you can have smallish game file sizes or cpu load when decompressing and opening game

Well the pirated game was a repack - but on install it decompressed the game - now its 42GB. The clips that load the game are buggy.

My cpu handles aw much better in sli then bf4. Bf4 destroys my cpu, compared to my cod games barely being over 65%.

My i5 sits at 50-75% max on this game, maybe you're having some driver issues.

How is the over lock/boost settings? My auto setting aren't the greatest, always down clocks my ram and runs my PCI lanes like crap.

Its not as good looking as bf4 for sure.

In a game with greater GPU demands, your CPU may average lower utilization percentages due to being GPU-bound more often. If "good looking" means the graphics are more intensive, that actually means lower CPU usage in many cases. Assuming your profile is up-to-date, an R9 270 is going to be working pretty hard to be at 60 FPS.

The CPU may be free to work harder in games where your video card is not being pushed as hard, thus averaging higher usage and thus somewhat higher temperatures. 59°C is still not a particularly hot temperature, though.

Well it starts throttling at 59*C. On BF4 from maxed out I just had to turn the aa to 2xmsaa(i dont remember the name) and I got stable 60 fps.
