Hi everyone!

I'm new here so yeah, hello fellas =)

I built my first PC a couple days ago (yay \o/ ) and it's working nicely, I managed to get everything working thanks to Linus' videos!

I have a couple (small but they annoy me!) issues with my drives. I installed a SSD as a boot drive, and I dumped in 2 1To HDD's that were laying around and my problem is my disks are scattered like hell:

Disks C:\ and D:\ are both my one and only SSD (disk 0) split in two, F:\ is HDD#1 (disk 2), and G:\ and H:\ are HDD#2 (disk 1).

As a note, Windows was first installed on HDD#2 and it made the partition on its own, and when cloning the data to my SSD it partitionned it (I suppose).

I HATE HAVING 5 FRIGGIN' DRIVES! Can someone help me out? Is it possible to merge the disks back together or something? I first wanted to do the NTFS thing when installing them so I wouldn't have to care about having 3 drives but it turned out I wasn't even asked for installing those, they appeared on their own (I sometimes hate it when computers make things easy for me).

Have a nice day o/

delete all the partitions except the ones your os is on.  Then create partitions that are the size of the drive.

No...  anything you want/need to keep put it on a usb.  Both of the things we said will remove everything on the drive.  You should format any drive when you put it in a new computer, just back all important stuff up.

Those small partitions are system reserved and the windows creates them to store essential settings they are usually hidden when a windows is on the disk. When they are used as normal hdd's and not boot drive they will appear.Re-format both hdd's and you will be fine and by re-format i mean deleting all the small space volumes from disk manager formating the hdd and creating new volumes

Yeah... You should always format a drive when going into a new computer  Although not necessary, this lets the drive know the computer.  This leads to less issues in the future.  As well as any crapware and viruses on the old HDD will be carried over if you don't format.  I know i hate that process of installing everything onto a new drive, that is why I won't buy an SSD.
