Will this hold up?

In teamfights, shouldn't drop below 80fps. The CPU is more important in league anyway.

Teamfights too?

I don't remember I don't really play it anymore...barely in the first place.. but it can run on a potato. A 280x is a 7970 which I know is overkill and then some.

That 6970m is just above a 7770 performance wise, so about 2200 passmark score at base clock. (It's not listed as passmark confuses the 6970m with the 6990m)

The 7970/280x is at 5169.

I think it's safe to say it'll smash  league. I know lesser cards keep 144 fps and never dip below. But I don't know if anything has changed performance wise since I've played. This is also based on Summoner's Rift, I hear Howling Abyss is harder to run, but I don't remember.

I would also guarantee that CS GO will play at 144 fps.

I have a 6870 I'm gonna replace soon with a 970 and I maxed the game and get between 95-160 fps. A 6870 has a passmark score of 2582, so again safe to say a 280x would be plenty for CS GO.
