Does anybody use Greenify on Android?

I am not sure but the app seems to help with standby battery life.

It force stops the apps you choose so that they won't be running in the background.

I do have incredible standby battery life on my OPO

Thing is, I have the free version so I need to go to Greenify and manually click the ZZZ button to make it force stops the apps.

I believe if you have root access, you can do it automatically even with the free version.

I used it on my old phone, but not on my new phone. It is a good app, everyone should give it a try at least to see if it helps their battery. :)

How's the memory usage?

I might switch to it from Advanced Task Killer...

No idea, doesn't seem to affect it I guess :o

Hmm... I'll try it out for a week and see how things go...

Can't hurt :)

Went back to advanced task killer after a day...

Reasons:

  • Lack of fine detail control
  • UI Problems
  • Not all apps are listed

Sorry...

I tried it, and it ended up creating a wakelock that made my battery even worse. Instead of my apps using up my cpu(in the battery monitor) greenify was at the top of the list. It seemed like a pain to set up(to get it to actually make it work), so I would recommend avoiding it(especially if your device runs Touchwiz).
