How, should I OC ? What settings do I change?  I want something Really safe Nothing over 4.5GHz

My Specific MB is the MSI G55-SLI Z97

Also should I upgrade my Bios before or after OC?

You should always update your bios :)

Hopefull experienced members with overclocking will help, give them sometime

Okay idk if you reccemend it but would it be safe to upgrade the BIOS via MSI's LiveUpdate tool ? Or do I need to do it more... Manually

12ghz is safe if it's stable. If you are looking for saftey all you need to do is make sure your temps don't go over 84ish during a stress test. As it will be much lower in real world scenarios and don't push voltage past 1.3V

live update is probably safer.

12GHz ? eh? You mean 4.2GHz ?  That sounds good I was wanting 1 of a few options, 4.0GHz, 4.4 or 4.5  with voltages and hopefully an MSI screenshot if possible I have no clue what to click and change inside the bios.

No I meant 12ghz, it was a hyperbole. More ghz won't cause cpu or gpu damage, voltage and heat will. Vcore is your voltage, every cpu comes slightly different, basically up that to 1.25 and set your cpu core multiplier to 42. That's all your will ever need to touch for a simple overclock. But a better idea instead of using the bios is download XTU intel extreme tuning utility.
