Hey Guys,

Sooo, I have been searching for a good laptop to purchase. It would be mainly used for Adobe creative applications (Mainly Premiere Pro, but also After Effects and Photoshop) and gaming on the side (I'm starting out gaming so I don't really know what games I would play). So I've been searching and I have narrowed it down to 2 laptops that I like. The Razer Blade 14 and the Aorus x3. And I can't really decide between the two. Could I get some feedback from you guys? It would be awesome!

well imo the razer is great for your use. It does have some thermal throttling problems but that awesome screen and small powerbrick really make up for it. Also, the arorus has a pretty weak keyboard that feels horrible to type on. The razer's keyboard is much better and has a better travel time. So all in all, get the razer. Imo of course.

Well it's 14 inch vs 15 inch, that's actually quite a big difference if you carry it around a lot, so that's something to consider. Honestly I would wait until a similar laptop comes out with a GTX 970M first, since the Blade 2014 and Aorus X3 still use last year's 870M. Those chips produce more heat then the new Maxwell chips which has caused thermal throttling issues.

Desktop: Intel Core i5 2380P (2400 w/o iGPU), MSI H61, 8GB RAM, 256GB SP610, 500GB WD Blue, HIS R9 280, Antec TruePower Classic 550W, Inwin MANA 134, QNIX QX2710, CM QuickFire Rapid, Logitech G402

Laptop: Toshiba Satellite L40D, AMD A6-6310, 6GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Radeon R4 Graphics, 14" 1366x768

Phone: iPhone 6 Space Gray 64GB, T-Mobile $60/mo 3GB plan
