You don't disable the pagefile, limit it yes, but don't actually remove it.. EVEN if you have 16GB+ of Memory, there are some apps that are HARDLOCKED to using it (coded that way) and when you disable it weird shit can happen within the app, bugs, errors, instability, data corruption.

Plus it's not a performance enhancing thing to turn it off anyway, overall, it should be left on for those lazy pieces of software that require it.

I didn't fully disable it, I just reduced its size and put it on my HDD.

These boot times will never change if you reinstall windows and still use the same programs as before.

Just get used to it or reinstall windows monthly and learn not to crap your pc full of not needed programs.

Install the os on the ssd and all unused programs like gta, movie maker etc on your hdd.

You *can* (not recommended) defrag the disk, but that'd chew up a lot of read/write cycles (can't remember if its one or the other, or both).

But I'm sure the new firmware is out that fixes the issue of read speed degradation. 

defragging an SDD could make it slower. 

Not just because you wasted X amount of R/W cycles, but because SSDs are optimized to work without defragging.

You only need to defrag a hard drive to reduce the distance the arm needs to move; and there is no arm in an SSD.
