What's the best gaming mouse under $40? It doesn't even have to be a gaming mouse really. I just need a mouse with good tracking and speed.

Well the corsair m45 is 45. I don't think you have a lot of great options below that.

A4Tech F7, best mouse for that price IMO. So undderreated, has laser sensor and even weights and 3 extra buttons and DPI change

Eeh, 5-10 bucks more and you can get the Raptor M45

Okay. Is it compatible with Linux? EDIT: I might go for this. It's only $30.

CM Storm has some good mice you can most often find under $40, but availability depends on the region: Spawn (hard to find in Europe), Alcor (hard to find in Americas) and Recon (should be easily available globally). You might still be able to find Logitech G400s and Corsair M40 somewhere. Since they both have been replaced by new versions they usually are below $40. They are still amazing mice even though they are older versions.

I actually saw Deathadders sell for $30 on eBay. My father has one, and I love it. I'm going to save up and buy one of those. Thanks for the suggestions everybody!

I've had a Deathadder die on me straight out of the box at Best Buy. Razer's build quality has been notoriously crap in recent years.... Don't go for that.
