I have a custom that i built myself and I absolutely LOVE it (see my sig). However my cousin just doesn't want to deal with the process and the hassle, you know?

He doesn't have to build it himself, he can just buy everything in 1 place and ask them to ensamble it, there are stores that would even charge you for ensambling it even if you don't buy it there.

But hey, if he wants to spend the extra money instead of learning about it, up to him.

This is actually true haha, then they use the whole "Its got an i7" to really drive home that its a monster of a pc

Hahaha yea back when I was still a newb(I still am) I bought an alienware m17x with an i7 and a 675m gpu thinking that it was a monster. Biggest mistake of my life tbh.

As a few people have already said, Digital Storm are hands-down some of the best. And they use quality components, considering they're normal, off the shelf parts.

my friend has an i7, 12 gb of ram and then like a 7750 its brutal. it makes me want to cry

My cousin has an i7/8GB/GT640 prebuilt. We're in the process of upgrading. Should have an R9 270X, EVGA SuperNova 650W and a Bitfenix Shinobi by Christmas.

Before, he told me that he took out the GPU himself, cleaned it, and put it back together properly. Was pretty proud lol.

Yeah, weird combo. Being more specific, an i7 3770. And it has a 256GB SSD, which at the time of purchase, would have cost around $400.
