Game wise it probably varies but I usually force Anisotropic Filtering to 16X, V-Sync(I cannot handle the tearing), prefer maximum performance, triple buffering, maximum pre-rendered frames: 2.

I will probably change it up a bit depending on the game but those are my base settings to start from.

DO NOT DO THIS!!!!

 

Prefer maximum performance does not to affect a game all it does is will make your gpu always run at max including when not playing a game so your gpu idle temps go up alot so your gpu is cooler alot less of the time.

 

My gpu usually gets 29-32c in idle if you enable maximum performance it will got up to 40c-45c idle when it should not run that hot. You dont need the max performance setting in games. They will use gpu power when  need if it does not then its a badly designed game.
