Hello

I was wondering about which one of these graphics cards are the best for 1080p gaming.

The GTX 770 4GB or the GTX 780 3GB

Thanks alot for your input :D

Ya the 780 kind of nukes everything.

This is the first time in a long time that the *80 has been a justifiable upgrade over the *70... It's pretty beastly.

But is the 780 worth the extra money?

I think it's better to buy gtx 770 non-reference like windforce,dcII or lightning for 1080p is enough ;)

Take a look at the benchmarks and decide for yourself.

If you're likee me and you want to run everything at the highest settings so it looks as good as it possibly can and you find that 30FPS isn't good enough, then ya, it may be. but it still depends on what you need to be happy.

I've got my 670 running at 1228MHz, and in farcry 3 at 1920x1200 the FPS is generally around the 45 mark or a bit lower, so yes, for me that is good enough, but the next generation of games, who knows if It'll handle max settings?
