The major mod packs tells me almost nothing. How many mods are in a modpack? How intensive/big are these mods? You should be fine tho.

I am going to assume that you are talking about things like feed the beast and things similar. It should be able to record them a bit above 30 fps. Just make sure when you are recording with atleast 6 cores.
