Headset tips?

So today I purchased my second pair of Logitech h390 headphones. The problem I have is that I have a laptop, and the USB cable used to connect the headset has a large connector. The problem is that eventually, gravity takes its course and breaks the connector. I was wondering if there's anyway to avoid this happening or at least delay it for a bit longer to avoid having to buy another pair?
