I will be building a new pc soon, well because I can, and The Witcher 3 is coming out soon. I really want to play that game and many others with a lot of bells and whistles turned up, I also have a Asus Rog Swift monitor to go with it. I am currently using an i5 3570k, 780ti, 8 gigs of ram, etc. I will primarily use this PC for gaming and possibly streaming. So here it is: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8hpnwP

I really want a beefy CPU to last for awhile and I may just wait and get the 980ti instead of SLI 980s. So I am in no hurry but I could do this whenever. Also should I get the 5930k instead, it is more expensive, and would it really be better than the 5820k. I want the smoothest gameplay possible around this budget.

No offense, but that's completely overkill, especially since it's just for gaming. Would be one thing if you did content creation.

But it's your money, do what you want.

I know that it is overkill but that is the fun part lol. I also dont think its overkill, at least in the long run. Also when I watched a recent Linus video he was saying that frame rates might not be much different but the smoothness of the game is still better with a beefier CPU. Is that not correct?
