Well, I'm thinking of a build costing around 1500 bucks. My budget is expandable. I did a couple of builds but can't settle on one.

Would like to see what other people would suggest.

No peripherals required. Build's main purpose is for gaming - 1080p currently but probably gonna get to 4K.

Gonna get all the stuff from Newegg and/or Amazon.

I agree with the build above but i think that you would do better with a single 980 and a 250gb ssd, or even a single 970 since those destroy 1080p.  The only reason you shouldn't invest that much money into a gpu is that 4 gigs is still a little low for 4k gaming, so a single 970 would allow you to get really good performance and not take a loss if you upgrade your gpu to a 6 or 8 gigabyte card.

Eh. I think most if not all games still use less than 4gb of vram at 4k. Shadow of Mordor can be played perfectly fine at 4k with textures installed on a 4gb card, despite their 6gb recommendation. Games like BF4, Crysis 3 won't use more than 4gb either. One thing about that build, though, is why 16gb of ram for gaming? Should be 8gb and the saved money should be put into a better CPU cooler, in my opinion.
