Looking to get a wifi booster to stick upstairs since the connection up there is total balls.

Anyone know of any good ones I can get off Amazon UK (preferable not expensive) that's compatible with the Virgin Media Hub 2 (or something to that effect).

EDIT:

I'm not sure what the name for the products are so I'll explain my problems and ask for a solution instead (where products can be bought from Amazon UK).

Upstairs has fairly poor wifi reception. I need some sort of transmitter placed upstairs which will give wifi access to devices upstairs. This can be a booster, repeater, extender w/e.

I've had the Linksys RE2000 and Dlink DAP-1320.  They're both not really that good honestly.

I'm not those crazy elitist who thinks "wifi is evil and you should only game on LAN" type too.

Its just that those disconnects all the time and i constantly loses wireless signal connecting to it. I can hardly watch a couple of video before it going bad, not to mention when you have more than 2 devices connected to it which will make it completely broken.

What I did instead was Got a Dlink AV500 powerline kit with the Wireless N Extender on the receiving side. Works like a charm, can connect 4-5 devices no problem and never disconnects.

Ty. I've updated the OP so I think your solution applies.

Going to throw in my 2 cents and say that I upgraded to a Ubiquiti UniFi AP about the same time Linus tested the UniFI AC and I haven't been happier with it. Once I setup the AP I haven't had to touch it. With my old AP I had been resetting it weekly because I'd lose connection or it would crap out after streaming a movie for more than 90 minutes. With the Ubiquiti UniFi AP, which is a PoE device that comes with an injector, I put it right where I wanted it and the coverage has been fantastic.
