So I just switched from a GTX 550 ti to a GTX 970 and its a beautiful jump in performance but now my second monitor isn't working.. I have a very old old monitor and a slightly newer one and when I pluged the thing in only the older monitor would work. I updated the drivers and restarted and the newer one worked but now the older one wont. It says its pluged in and working fine, the screen is just black. The old one is vga converted to vga and the newer is vga.

I've seen A LOT of those VGA to DVI converters die over the years.I would try a different one or a different cable if you have either laying around.

Am I the only one around here who really doesn't like pcpartpicker?
I also like Ubisoft and Origin/EA
Guess I'm just odd that way.

Its the brand new one that came with the 970, also it worked first then I fiddled with it and it didn't

Flip your monitors around, "use the cable on the monitor that you know works."
